With special thanks to

GODOT, the awesome game engine we made all this in and the greta community were happy to be part of

GDQUEST for some good readings and tutorials, like the idea for the dialogue system

Godot engine's godot-demo-projects (github) for useful examples on 2D in 3D (the screen video) and dynamic multi camera vieweports.

and of course..

Games Transformed for organizing the 2024 No War But Class War Game Jam (even if none of us could make it to the festival, next year perhaps)

And now good folks, Ruckus, the bird, has something to say:

The Feathered Rebel's Manifesto

To All Who Value Freedom and Peace:

Rise Up! Resist! Rebel!

We, the creatures of the sky, denounce the oppressive institutions that spread violence and destruction under the guise of protection and patriotism. The military recruitment centers, symbols of war and control, are targets of our righteous defiance.

Why We Resist

1. War and Destruction: Military forces perpetuate endless cycles of violence, destroying lives, communities, and the natural world. Innocent lives, both human and animal, are caught in the crossfire of their senseless conflicts.

2. Enforced Conformity: The military demands obedience, suppressing individuality and critical thought. It molds young minds into instruments of war, stripping away their freedom to choose a path of peace and creativity.

3. Exploitation of the Vulnerable: Recruitment centers prey on the hopes and dreams of the young and disenfranchised, promising glory and stability while leading them into harm's way. They exploit economic inequality to fill their ranks with those who see no other way out.

4. Environmental Destruction: Military operations wreak havoc on the environment. From the destruction of habitats to pollution from weapons and machinery, the Earth suffers under their boots and tanks.

5. Perpetuation of Fear: The military-industrial complex thrives on fear, dividing humanity into hostile camps. It justifies its existence by stoking paranoia and conflict, perpetuating a state of perpetual war.

Just as a single bird’s song can herald the dawn, so too can our collective voices bring about a new era of peace and justice. Refuse to be a pawn in their games of war. Spread the message of peace. Resist the recruiters. Stand against the machines of destruction.

Together, we can topple the symbols of oppression and build a world where all beings are free to soar.

Signed,

The Feathered Rebel

(and all who believe in the cause of peace)

And for FUCK sake stop making games that glorify the military!

And finally, Free Palestine!
